- 5,070 m² building for lactating animals
- Free stall housing for up to 288 cows in groups of 12 to 24 animals
- Rubber matting on feed allies in half the building
- Double-12 parallel milking parlour equipped with milk meters interfaced with DairyComp305 herd management software.
- Maternity pens
- Contains the Centre’s administration offices
- Small dry-lab space for the server with desk space for computer terminals
- Video cameras to continuously monitor individual animal or group behaviour
- Activity monitors for estrus detection
